In an effort to strengthen Boy Scouts’ Duty to Country, the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) is teaming up with The West Virginia National Guard & several veteran organizations from across the state and around the nation to host a Veterans Appreciation Day

ACTIVITIES

Vendor Village – there will be vendors from the community selling food and other items. Also informational booths for different Veteran Non-Profit organizations.

Sustainability Treehouse – this 126-foot tall ADA accessible treehouse is 100 percent sustainable, producing its own energy, collecting water and processing its own waste. It acts as The Summit’s central educational facility in sustainable living practices.

CONSOL Energy Bridge – at nearly 800-feet, this wing-tip bridge provides breathtaking views of the valley between Action Point and the Paul R. Christen High Adventure Base.

Kids Activities – assortment of activities for kids will be available, more details to be announced soon!
