Midland Trail Football team visits Summit Bechtel Reserve

 

The Midland Trail High School Football Team recently visited Summit Bechtel Reserve for a day of “exploration, education and excitement”.

The local team from Fayette County often participate in weekend outings to promote and foster team camaraderie among players.

The visit included a guided tour of the SBR Scout Exhibit in the Scott Visitors Center, Sustainability Treehouse, Consol Energy Bridge, Hunter’s Hall and the Joe Crafton Skills Center.

The team also took part in some friendly competition of Hawk Toss and Powder Ball Sling Shot Shooting at steel targets.

Thetrip was organized by Chris Perkins, Program Director for Hunter Education / Educational Exploration and Head Football Coach Frankie Issacs.

TheMidland Trail Patriots are currently undefeated and are ranked in the top of the West Virginia Class “A” division.
