As preparations for the 2013 National Scout Jamboree continue, we have been simultaneously working on the development and marketing of the 2014 high adventure program that will be headquartered at the Christen High Adventure Base here on The Summit. In
As I write this we are 180 days away from the opening of the 2013 National Scout Jamboree at the Summit. We remain on track for close to 40,000 attendees as registrations grow and the excitement continues to build. Hopefully
Being a member of the staff for this particular jamboree — well let’s just say it’s extremely unlikely you will get another opportunity to be part of the staff of an opening event of the magnitude of the Summit.

Once signed up for a curriculum event, a Scout or Venturer will have a reserved spot in the class. As far as electives go, they will be able to visit any activity area they choose during their free time.
Currently in the planning stages are a Leadership Excellence Center, a Better Body Better Life Center, and a Technology Center.
