Doyle Parrish’s father, Clifton, was known as “Toot” because of his avid cheering for his children and grandchildren during sporting events. Although Doyle “toots” in a different way, his voice is felt and heard through his passionate commitment to creating superior experiences and quality opportunities in his hospitality profession, his volunteerism, his servant leadership, and his advocacy for Scouting.
Doyle, who is an Eagle Scout himself, is also a proud father of two Eagle Scout sons, Yates and Joseph. He is actively involved in his local council, the BSA National Executive Board, and several national Scouting committees. Through his leadership in Scouting, Doyle is able to make a difference by combining his love of the outdoors, passion for youth character development, and his drive for excellence.
Doyle is the CEO of the Summit Hospitality Group, Ltd. in Raleigh, North Carolina, which he co-founded in 1988. Today the company manages 24 franchised hotel brand properties, The Dunhill Hotel, and three independent restaurants. Under Doyle’s leadership his company has been recognized with the prestigious Partnership Circle Award from Marriott International.
