How do I Register for Programs or events at the Summit?
Registration varies by program and event. The Summit Registration team handles registration for all standard SBR programs including: High Adventure, Scout Camp and most training conferences. If you’re attending a special event at the Summit like the BSA National Jamboree or the National Law Enforcement Exploring Conference…cruise on over to our events page for links to those events.

Registration is a first come, first served opportunity. It is not a lottery.
Reservation is immediate.

Justice Scout Camp Registration Info
- Minimum of two adults and five youth
- Registered in Scouts, BSA; Venturing, BSA; or Exploring, BSA
- Completed BSA Annual Health & Medical Record.
- Completed Summit Risk Acknowledgment & Media Release
- Some activities & classes have height/weight, age, or rank requirements.

- One Week (5 Nights) Camping in the Justice Scout Camp
- Arrive Sunday, Depart Saturday
- Early Arrivals & Late Departures Available for Additional Fee

- Deposit- $250 deposit due upon registration
- 1st Payment- 10% of remaining fees due 3/1/2023 or within 30 days of registration if after 3/1/2023
- 2nd Payment- 50% of remaining fees due 11/1/2023 or within 30 days of registration if after 11/1/2023
- Final Payment- Balance of remaining fees 90 days prior to arrival

Registering for a life-changing High Adventure Base expedition is an exciting and sometimes competitive
experience. In order to ensure the best possible experience on registration day we’ve prepared a checklist for
the reservation contact who will be placing the High Adventure reservation.
1. Prior to registration day login to your my.scouting account and verify the following.
a. I know my my.scouting username and password.
b. I’ve logged into my.scouting and verified that the following information is both correct and up-to date.
i. My Scouting Member ID
ii. My email address
iii. My home address
iv. My phone number
2. To update my my.scouting profile information:
a. Visit my.scouting.org
b. Login
c. Click on the profile icon in the upper right corner
d. Click on “My Profile”
e. Click on the piece of information that you want to update
3. I understand that registrations are finalized in the order that they are received and that knowing my my.scouting username and password on registration day will best set me up for success!
4. I have carefully reviewed program and date offerings that my group is most interested in and I have prioritized my TOP 5 options so that if one of my options happens to fill up I’ll be ready to select an alternative option.
5. How many adults and how many youth will be in my reservation(s).
6. I understand that once I’ve selected my group’s desired session, I will have 10 minutes to complete my payment information and finalize my reservation. If I don’t have my payment information ready, and my 10 minutes expires, I will be directed back to the session page to make a new session selection.
7. I can register multiple crews for the same program and date in a single reservation but if I want to have crews arriving on multiple dates or participating in multiple programs, then I will need to create multiple reservations.
Important Terms:
Reservation Contact – An adult, at least 21 years old who will manage your reservation and remain responsible for submitting all reservation payments in compliance with the payment schedule. The Reservation Contact may or may not be a participating member of one of the crews in their reservation.
Lead Advisor – The Lead Advisor is a participating member of the crew. Within a reservation are one or more crews. Each crew in the reservation will have one designated adult Lead Advisor. The Reservation Contact may choose to serve as the Lead Advisor for one crew in their reservation, inform units they will require the member ID and Last Name of those they choose to designate as the Lead Advisor for each remaining crew in the reservation.

High Adventure Registration Info
- Complete the online reservation request process by identifying your unit’s available dates, program choice, and the projected number of participants.
- Unit’s will be asked to select from the Summit Experience program or one of our treks.
- Once this form has been completed and submitted, SBR will send a confirmation email that confirms your program date and expedition #. (Allow 24-48 hours to receive the confirmation.)
Group Size*– Minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 12 participants. (Minimum 2 adult leaders and must have a majority of youth in the group.) (*As long as space is available in selected trek date.)

Group Size*– Each boat holds 8-9 participants. To meet our standard rules of two-deep leadership and a majority of youth in the crew a reservation must have at least five participants (2 adults and 3 youth). See the Cost & Payment Schedule section below for more details.

- Polaris ATV Experience: $13,000/Trek of 8; add up to 4 more for $1,625 per person
- BikePacking Experience: $1,140 per person
- New River Experience: $8,200 for a boat of up to 8 participants; add 1 participant more for $1,025 .
*For reservations of 10 or more, your unit would need to purchase an additional boat. The River Experience is a limited capacity program and a maximum of four boats will be sold per reservation date. - Summit Experience: $1,100 per person
