How do I register for programs at SBR?
Registration varies by program. The SBR Registration team handles registration for all standard SBR programs including: High Adventure, Scout Camp and most training conferences. If you’re attending a special event at SBR like the BSA National Jamboree please go to that event webpage for instructions on how to register.

Justice Scout Camp Registration Info
Participant Base Fee: $450/person
(Adult Leaders and Youth Participants)

Fee Schedule
- Deposit- $250 deposit due upon registration
- 1st Payment- 10% of remaining fees due 3/1/2024 or within 30 days of registration if after 3/1/2024
- 2nd Payment- 50% of remaining fees due 11/1/2024 or within 30 days of registration if after 11/1/2024
- Final Payment- Balance of remaining fees 90 days prior to arrival
*ALL PAID FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Suggested minimum of two adults and five youth
- Registered in Scouts BSA, Venturing, or Exploring
- Some activities & classes have height/weight, age, or rank requirements.

- One week (six nights) camping in the Justice National Scout Camp
- Arrive Sunday afternoon and depart Saturday morning
- Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an SBR dining hall
- Sunday dinner through Saturday breakfast
- All campsite equipment except tents
- Fold-out cots
- Dining fly/shade shelter
- Picnic tables
- Above-ground fire ring
- Ambient-temperature shower facilities near campsite
- Flush toilets
- Sinks with mirrors
- Electrical outlets
- Program equipment for programs offered in Justice National Scout Camp
- Some programs, like high-adventure activities and whitewater trips, have extra fees
- Access to all programs listed in Program Details & Prerequisites page
- All program and personal protective equipment (bikes, skateboards, life jackets, helmets, harnesses, etc.)
- AT&T Wi-Fi in sub-camp and Summit Center venues
- Access to area for rest or remote work
Merit badge and program registration for Justice National Scout Camp participants is completed on the Black Pug online registration platform. This platform is separate from the platform on which initial camp registration is made and on which camp fees are paid.
Leaders and parents/guardians (if unit leaders enable the option) make merit badge and program selections for Scouts on Black Pug, and detailed, step-by-step instructions will be provided to registered units. The merit badge and program registration portal typically opens to registered participants in mid-April (about two
months before the first session of camp).

2025 Experience Program Fees

Minimum Reservation Size: All reservations require that BSA Youth Protection Standards are met. Each unit must provide appropriate adult leadership and age-appropriate buddies for youth participants. All reservations should be made up of a majority of youth participants.
- Polaris ATV Experience: $17,000/Trek of 10; add up to 2 more for $1,700 per person (Maximum reservation size of 12 participants.)
- New River Experience: $8,800 per boat (Each boat holds 8 participants. If you have more than 8 participants, you must book an additional boat.)
- Summit Experience: $1,150 per person
- Marksman Experience: $1,300 per person
- Pack n’ Paddle Experience: $1,150 per person (Maximum reservation size of 10 participants.)

- Complete the online reservation request process by identifying your unit’s available dates, program choice, and the projected number of participants.
- Unit’s will be asked to select from the Summit Experience program or one of our treks.
- Once this form has been completed and submitted, SBR will send a confirmation email that confirms your program date and expedition #. (Allow 24-48 hours to receive the confirmation.)
Group Size*– Minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 12 participants. (Minimum 2 adult leaders and must have a majority of youth in the group.) (*As long as space is available in selected trek date.)
Minimum Age– 14 Years of age or age 13 and graduated the 8th grade at the START of the trek
Group Size*– Each boat holds 8 participants. To meet our standard rules of two-deep leadership and a majority of youth in the crew a reservation must have at least five participants (2 adults and 3 youth). See the Cost & Payment Schedule section below for more details.
Group Size– Minimum of 5 participants and no maximum # of participants. (Minimum 2 adult leaders and must have a majority of youth in the group. Each Summit Experience date holds 40 participants total–once that total is reached, group sizes cannot be increased.)
