Craig and Mary Fenneman

Early leadership experiences as a Scout gave Craig Fenneman a confidence that has stayed with him through his life. Since then Craig has emerged as a servant leader with a friend-to-all approach that has helped him innovate within the food service industry.

Craig, a Distinguished Eagle Scout, applied the leadership lessons he learned as a Scout to the two Indiana-based businesses he founded: Fenneman and Associates, a real estate development company, and Southern Bells Inc., one of the largest Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut franchisees in the country.

As a member of the Scouting America National Executive Board and the Scouting America Foundation Board he works to ensure that other youth are exposed to the leadership and character-building lessons that helped him become successful.

“We don’t come away from our Scouting experience simply thinking, ‘I can now tie 17 knots.’ Instead, we go out into the world armed with leadership skills and the knowledge that we can handle all sorts of difficult situations.”
