Summer Camp at the Summit Bechtel Reserve

Activity Exploration, Advancement & Scouting Traditions

The Justice National Scout Camp offers week-long resident camp sessions for Scout troops and Venturing crews looking for challenging advancement opportunities, activity exploration, and Scouting traditions. The Justice Scout Camp program is built to support unit efforts throughout the year and to enhance the experiences available at local council camps. Justice Scout Camp offers merit badge sessions, elective activities, high-adventure experiences, trainings, and camp-wide fun set within the Walter Scott Scouting Valley at the Summit Bechtel Reserve.

This page offers a brief overview and some basic information. For full details about the Justice Scout Camp program, be sure to download and read through the Scout Camp program supplement and check out the schedules, packing lists, and other documents on the sidebar (or near the bottom on a mobile device)!

Please note: Participation in the James C. Justice National Scout Camp program does not count as a National High Adventure Base trek for purposes of the Triple Crown or Grand Slam of High Adventure Awards, though participants do have some limited access to high-adventure venues and experiences.
