2024 Pilot Program

Autumn Polaris ATV Adventure

Prepare for an epic weekend as you embark on a thrilling ATV experience! Calling all scouts to join us for a wild ride and an unforgettable activity. The morning kicks off with the internationally recognized ASI S-Course, where you’ll master the ins and outs of ATV operation and safety.
Earning an official certification of your riding prowess that you can take with you anywhere. In the afternoon, hold on tight as we tackle our ATV trails, offering a unique perspective of the Summit that few have ever witnessed. Get set to create memories and boost your outdoor confidence with this high-intensity activity!

UNIT SIZE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum group size = 8 people.
  • Maximum group size = 12 people.

ATV Participant Requirements

  • Registered member of Scouting America
  • Age = 14+
  • Minimum body weight = 115 lbs.
  • Participants under the age of 16 and weigh over 215 lbs. are not eligible for the program.

These requirements cannot be relaxed. No exceptions are permitted.

There are 2 types of ATVs with weight and age limits specified by the manufacturer

Phoenix 200 ATV (Ages 14+) max body weight = 215 lbs.

  • The Phoenix 200 is for all participants that weigh under 215 lbs. and can fit safely on the vehicle.

450 Sportsman (Ages 16+) max body weight = 295 lbs.

ASI (ATV SAFETY INSTITUTE) E-COURSE WWW.ATVSAFETY.ORG/ATV-ECOURSE 
Prior to your arrival, each participant must complete the 2 ½ hour free ATV e-course. The link to that class is above and upon completion either print the certificate or take a screen shot (that legibly includes their name and course ID number). This information will be given to your instructors.

The e-course must be completed by each member before your ATV Rider S-Course

Housing will be in our Pigott Bunkhouse accommodations. All housing must follow Youth Protection Training regulations regarding youth/adult & male/female.

Individual bathrooms in hallway with shower and toilet.

  •  Your unit is not required to cook.
  • Breakfasts and Dinners will be served in our dining hall.
  • Lunch will be a bagged trail meal.

Scheduled Activities

You can build your own customized trip by picking out your desired activities. Plan on a maximum of 3 activities per FULL day.

Archery

Ages 6+
Nothing says “adventure” like a bow and arrow. Our Archery allows Scouts to test their abilities and hone their skills on static 10-yard ranges. Extend the adventure with our throwable ranges with tomahawks and slingshots! All programs are run by expert staff, so you stay safe and have fun!

Climbing at Boulder Cove

$29-35/person
Ages 6+
Show gravity who’s boss at our Boulder Cove climbing facility. We’ve got climbing routes for all skill levels – from novice to advanced with Auto-Belay Systems. Families can tackle the climbing wall and take in the awesome view from the top.
Weight Restrictions: 50-250 lbs
Activity Time: 2 hours

Laser Shot @ Crafton Skills Center

$15/person | Ages 6+
Visit the Crafton Skills Center to try your hand at hunting. The Center offers authentic shooting skill experiences and training through a variety of digital simulations in a virtual shooting gallery format. Participants will learn about firearms safety, safe range practices, and basic hunting skills.

Alexander's Eagle Flight Zipline

$39-45/person | Ages 10+
Soar over the Summit at 50 miles per hour on Alexander's Eagle Flight, one of the longest zip lines in North America. Families can enjoy a thrilling, one-of-a-kind zipline ride with amazing views. This awesome zipline is over 3000 feet long.

Action Point Canopy Tour

$61-70/person
Ages 10+
Zip through the air on our much-loved Canopy Tours! Each tour consists of a series of zip lines, platforms, and occasional rope bridge or rappel elements. Participants will zoom from treetop to treetop with amazing forest views and good laughs.

Action Point Challenge Courses

An aerial challenge course offers thrilling obstacles suspended high above the ground, designed to test your agility, balance, and courage. Not a fan of heights? No worries. Our trained staff help you become more comfortable and reach new heights!

Intro to Shotguns

$55/person
Ages 11+
Want to learn a new skill? You will receive a safety brief and 1-on-1 training at the ‘Barrels’ range on operating a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun with a single profile clay thrower range! Perfect if you have never picked up a shotgun before!
Activity Time: 2 hours

La Porte & Long Range Archery

$39 - $45/person
ages 11+
Ready, aim, loose! Upgrade your archery experience and test your reaction speed! Laporte archery is skeet shooting for the bow an arrow. Enjoy the satisfying feeling shooting foam disks out of the air! Afterwards, test your stability on our Olympic target style archery on a 30-50m range 30-50m.
Activity Time: 2 hours

Boating on Goodrich Lake

FREE - Must be scheduled
Need some time to cool off? Enjoy some boating or paddle boarding in our Goodrich West Lake! This is a free activity! Please speak with our team to schedule a time.
Activity Time: 1.5 hours | Note: All participants must pass a brief on-site swim check with staff

Guided Property Tour

$10/person
For families who want to see all that the Summit has to offer but don’t have much time, we offer a driving tour that visits all of Summit’s main attractions. A friendly and knowledgeable expert will guide the way on a tour of our beautiful site and give you an opportunity for some memorable photos.
