Leave No Trace Master Educators Course
The BSA Leave No Trace Master Educator Course provides participants with comprehensive training in Leave No Trace skills and ethics, instruction and practice on effective teaching methods, and information on the important role of outdoor ethics in scouting’s outdoor programs. Through a cooperative agreement with the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics, this valuable training is recognized throughout the world by the outdoors industry, land management agencies, and the outdoor recreation community.
When is it?
May 10 – May 16, 2020
- Be a member of the BSA.
- Be at least 18 years of age by the time of the course.
- Complete a BSA swim test and be classified as a “swimmer” prior to arrival.
- Provide a current BSA Health and Medical Record signed by a physician (parts A through C including Summit Risk Advisory.
