Registration varies by program. The SBR Registration Team manages registration for all standard SBR programs, including High Adventure, Scout Camp, and most training conferences. If you are attending a special event at SBR, such as the Scouting America National Jamboree, please visit that event’s webpage for specific registration instructions.

Participant Base Fee
$460 per person
(applies to both Adult Leaders and Youth Participants)

Fee Schedule
Deposit: $250 non-refundable deposit due at registration
First Payment: 50% of remaining fees due by February 1, 2026
Final Payment: Balance of remaining fees due 60 days prior to arrival
Important: All fees paid are non-refundable.
Suggested minimum of two adults and five youth
Participants must be registered in Scouts BSA, Venturing, or Exploring
Some activities and classes have height/weight, age, or rank requirements

Camping: One week (six nights) in the Justice National Scout Camp
Arrival: Sunday afternoon | Departure: Saturday morning
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner in an SBR dining hall
Coverage: Sunday dinner through Saturday breakfast
Campsite Equipment:
Fold-out cots
Dining fly/shade shelter
Picnic tables
Above-ground fire ring
Facilities:
Ambient-temperature shower facilities near campsite
Flush toilets
Sinks with mirrors
Electrical outlets
Program Equipment: Provided for programs offered in Justice National Scout Camp
Some programs, such as aerial activities and whitewater trips, require additional fees
Includes all program and personal protective equipment (bikes, skateboards, life jackets, helmets, harnesses, etc.)
Additional Amenities:
Wi-Fi in sub-camp and Summit Center venues
Access to designated areas for rest or remote work
Merit badge and program registration for Justice National Scout Camp participants is completed through the Black Pug online registration platform. This system is separate from the platform used for initial camp registration and fee payments.
Unit leaders—and parents/guardians, if enabled by the unit leader—will make merit badge and program selections for Scouts in Black Pug. Step-by-step instructions will be provided to all registered units.
The registration portal typically opens in mid-April, about two months before the first session of camp.

Minimum Reservation Size:
All reservations must meet Scouting America Youth Protection Standards. Each unit must provide appropriate adult leadership and age-appropriate buddies for youth participants. Reservations should consist primarily of youth participants.
Experience Program Fees:
New River Experience: $9,600 per boat
(Each boat holds 8 participants. If you have more than 8 participants, an additional boat must be booked.)
Summit Experience: $1,225 per person
Marksman Experience: $1,350 per person
Pack n’ Paddle Experience: $9,600 per trek of up to 8 participants
(Up to 2 additional participants can be added at $1,200 per person, maximum 10 participants.)
ATV Experience: $18,500 per group of 10
(Up to 2 additional participants can be added at $1,850 per person, maximum 12 participants.)
Fee Schedule:
Deposit: $250 due upon registration
1st Payment: 10% of remaining fees due within 30 days of registration
2nd Payment: 50% of remaining fees due by November 1, 2025
(If registration occurs after 11/1/2025, your unit has 30 days to catch up on payments.)
Final Payment: Balance of remaining fees due 90 days prior to arrival
Important: All fees paid are non-refundable.
Reservation Request Instructions
Complete the online reservation request by selecting your appropriate date, program, and projected number of participants.
Once submitted, SBR will send a confirmation email verifying your program date and expedition number.
(Please allow 24–48 hours to receive the confirmation.)
POLARIS ATV EXPERIENCE
Minimum Age: 14 years at the start of the trek
Group Size: 10–12 participants
(Minimum 2 adult leaders; must have a majority of youth participants. Space subject to availability on selected trek date.)
RIVER EXPERIENCE
Minimum Age: 14 years, or 13 years and graduated 8th grade at the start of the trek
Group Size: Each boat holds 8 participants
(To meet two-deep leadership and youth majority requirements, a reservation must have at least 5 participants: 2 adults and 3 youth. See the Cost & Payment Schedule section for details.)
SUMMIT EXPERIENCE
Minimum Age: 13 years at the start of the experience
Group Size: Minimum 5 participants; no maximum
(Minimum 2 adult leaders; must have a majority of youth participants.)
MARKSMAN EXPERIENCE
Minimum Age: 14 years, or 13 years and graduated 8th grade at the start of the trek
Group Size: Minimum 5 participants; no maximum
(Minimum 2 adult leaders; must have a majority of youth participants.)
PACK & PADDLE EXPERIENCE
Minimum Age: 14 years, or 13 years and graduated 8th grade at the start of the trek
Group Size: 8–12 participants
