Lost your stuff? Visit the Lost and Found

The Jamboree offers countless opportunities to have fun at program areas — and an equal number of opportunities to leave your belongings behind.

Here’s how the Lost and Found process works:

  1. First, someone loses something.
  2. Then someone else finds it.

If the found item is in a camp, it is transferred to the sub-camp headquarters, which includes a Lost and Found. At the end of each day, all items in sub-camp Lost and Found sites will be moved to the Jamboree Lost and Found Headquarters, located in a tent next to the Piggot Jamboree Headquarters building, up the road from Delta 4 sub-camp, and right beside the JamboLink Headquarters tent.

The Summit Center also has a satellite Lost and Found location; it is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. At the end of each day, items there will also be transferred to the Jamboree Lost and Found Headquarters.

The Lost and Found staff encourages everyone to label their belongings with their name and Jamboree troop number. That will make it easier to get lost items back to their owners.

Your first step in locating a lost item should be to check the lost and found at your sub-camp or Summit Center. If you still can’t find your item, check the central Lost and Found.

If you’ve followed all these steps but still haven’t found your items, check again at the Lost and Found Headquarters a day or two later, in case your lost item was being transferred when you were first looking for it.
