2020 Shooting Sports Training Update

The Summit Bechtel Reserve recently conducted training for their Shooting Sports Programs which included staff members from Barrels, Bows and Hunter’s Education. The training was under the direction of Ryan King, Program Manager for Shooting Sports with support from Art Scott, Seasonal Director of Barrels and Bows and Chris Perkins, Program Manager for Hunter’s Education.

Classroom training was held at the Crafton Sportsman Complex in Hunter’s Hall and the “hands on” training was conducted at Jack Link’s Pavilion, Lack Link’s Scout Rifle Range, Si and Eaton Brown’s 5 Stand and Eaton Brown’s Scout Pistol Range.

The Summit provides a variety of Shooting Sports activities and programs which include Rifle, Shotgun, Pistol, Archery, Hunter’s Education and Skills Development. The training focused on the fundamental knowledge, skills and attitudes to produce certified NRA instructors.
