The 2 Best Reasons (Maybe) To Register For The 2013 National Scout Jamboree

In case you haven’t heard, the 2013 National Scout Jamboree at the Summit Bechtel Reserve is going to use a new model for activities in terms of scheduling.

So what does that mean for you, the participants?

First of all, it means shorter lines and more organization, but maybe more importantly, it is going to allow you to design your jamboree experience to fit your personal interests.

Let me explain.

Skateboarding, BMX, zip lines, challenge courses, mountain biking, hiking, shooting sports, whitewater rafting, buckskin games, climbing, scuba diving, kayaking — any of those activities catch your attention?

If so, you’re in luck because you pick which activities you want to try, before the jamboree even begins, in early 2013.

Whether you are a pro and want to show off your skills, or you are a beginner and want to ease into the adventure, the Summit is going to make sure you start where you want to be!

How To Get The Adventure Started

  1. Register for the 2013 National Scout Jamboree. The sooner the better. When activities open up in early 2013, you will want to get to choose the ones you want!
  2. Tell your friends. The more the better. It is going to be so action-packed, you don’t want your friends to miss out!
  3. Pat yourself on the back. Yep, it’s so easy you can do it all in less than 3 steps.

Now you know. So what are you waiting for? Go register, you crazy adventurer, you.
