If you have enjoyed being at the Summit, consider signing up to serve as a seasonal staff member for the summer of 2018.
During normal operations in the summer, the Summit requires over 200 seasonal staff members to operate smoothly. The Summit is looking for dedicated individuals who pride themselves on doing good work for Scouting.
Qualifications for staff include:
- age 18 or older
- BMI of less than 32
- member of the BSA
- agree to submit a background check
- possess a valid BSA medical form
Staffing at the Summit can be very rewarding. Staff members are paid, receive room and board, receive professional certification training and enjoy discounts and endless activities.
Feel free to talk to the seasonal staff who are here at the jamboree, and ask them about their favorite part of the Summit.
Taylor Giles, a former foreman at the Summit, said his favorite place is the Summit Circle, the Order of the Arrow’s national ceremonies ring. “It is secluded and you get a feeling of no one else being around,” he said.
