Summit Bechtel Reserve participants help out at Beckley Elementary

On July 9 and 16 groups of participants here at Summit Bechtel Reserve did their Service and Conservation project at Beckley Elementary School.  Overgrowth was cleared along the fenced border and the grounds in front of the school were also cleaned up.  In total over 60 people worked for over 4 hours on the project.

The first participants on the 9th were even featured on a local news story.  Taylor Neuman from WVNS was on the scene.  That story can be found here:  https://www.wvnstv.com/local-news/fayette-county/scouts-take-part-in-community-service-at-beckley-elementary/1292242409

On the 16th participants returned to finish the job.  The remaining brush was cleared and mulch was put down.
