This week a team of Summit Bechtel Reserve employees are down in Florida, but not on vacation. The team, consisting of members across all departments of our staff, our volunteering to help Boy Scouts of America South Florida Council’s Camp Sawyer recover after Hurricane Irma hit in 2017.
Camp Sawyer suffered significant damage as Irma’s eye wall came ashore in the Lower Keys. The damages included property and structural damage and is now in the process of recovery. As part of that recovery effort the team from SBR are currently working on dock so that participants can get back on the water.
More updates to come.
